Why we would he be dropped?
His form has been good -a niggling injury from Round 2 perhaps.

Re: More Delisting to come

Hopefully haven't missed anything. As of the 23rd of October we have so far had 3 Retire, 2 Delisted and 2 Traded out. We have Traded 2 in. If we are to get Longer for Pick 25. Promote Curren from the Rookie list. Pick up Jolly and Bruce and Draft players with 3, 18 and 19, we will need to delist a...

Re: Official Trade Rumours thread (all in here please)

a compo for dal would be in the 20s can we kill the nonsense it would be pick 4. if it was pick 4 the club would do it in a heartbeat. I would rather keep Dal than receive a pick in the 20's. Dal is a star and we will continue to receive great service for at least 3 more years. a draft pick in the ...

if we want bruce and delaney, and have already upgraded curren and we want say 3 or 4 picks in the draft. that must mean we will have to trade I don't think we will use 4 picks. Delaney is a fringe player at North and a 3rd round pick should be enough -if GWS want Fisher we possibly add the 4th rou...

Re: Keep Dal At Saints Campaign

If we loose NDS, kiss 3x membership for next season goodbye, might be some 'best interest' for the club to keep in mind. NDS is like the heart of the club... I couldn't give a rats ass if we were offered a pick from 10 to 20, not worth it. If you're going to get rid of Dal, take Roo as well, actual...

Dal to NM -> Delaney + Pick 25 to Saints Pick 25 + Fisher to GWS -> Bruce + Pick 10 to Saints Effectively Pick 10, Delaney and Bruce for Dal and Fisher Hope Pelchen can get something like this done IMO would need a hell of a lot more than Fisher to get pick 10. Fair point, McEvoy instead of Fisher?...

Re: Dal Update Sep 20

My preferred trades are Mcevoy for a top 10 pick and Fisher for anything. Happy to keep dal and joey. If someone offers a top 20 for dal I'd probably take it though. Probably wont happen anyways. But with Big Mac I reckon Hickey and Stanley could make a good ruck duo. Trading McEvoy would be plain ...

I don't buy into this bottom 4 basket case next year rubbish, sounds defeatist imo, more than happy to keep NDS Bottom 4 and Basket case are entirely different things. Re: Dal Update Sep 20

We will always feel shafted in trade deals when we overvalue our players. If we get anything better than pick 20-25 for Dal, Pelchen is very, very good. As i have said before, I reckon its as much about Dal's trade value as it is about salary cap relief. Just like the Dogs moving Lake on. Big price...

That's the chance you take. We know that Dal has the ability and all things being equal will give us at least another two years at a high standard. If we traded him for pick 26, and that player remains a fringe player while we watch Dal starring for another club, what would be said on the forum then?

Has it occurred to anyone how hypercritical it is to have a motto "Strength through Loyalty" if we trade a loyal player like Dal Santo who wants to stay. He is probably our best at disposal and has at least 2 good years left. We might finish with a player at no. 26 which doesn't give us ev...

Re: Dal Santo to North Melbourne

The club wou;d be crazy to be duped into accepting a fringe defender and pick 26 for a top player like Dal Santo. He would be very valuable to us to help guide our many young inexperienced players.
