Watching the game there was no doubt in my mind it caused a massive momentum shift - i remember screaming at the idiots. Not your classic full forward but any chance of a trade for mark williams - is almost excess requirements for the hawks.

Going on trade posts almost every players name has been put up at some point in time (i think max, banger, hayes, and chips the only exclusions). What are the odds of five trades all paying off, let alone 10-15? The way to win a flag is not just through a team list - it's won by ensuring a maximum o...

My biggest fear is that if we sack Lyon, he could go on to win a premiership with another team. That's your biggest fear? No club would touch him as a main coach after his efforts thus far. If he got picked up as an assist. coach and that team won, well good luck to him... bottom line - can we get ...

Judging Lyon's progress should be made in view of the objectives that would have been set in awarding him the position. What were these objectives and have they been met? If they haven't been met then he gets a fail. If the club is rewriting objectives would Lyon would've been given the job if these...

Lyon in rally cry to Saints!

ST KILDA coach Ross Lyon has urged his players to make up for the farewell for Robert Harvey that fell flat at the MCG against Collingwood. http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,8659,24156778-23211,00.html Now is it only me that finds it very worrying when such an unemotional coach suddenly sprukes th...

How many times have i heard some fans declare we were going backwards in 2006 - it's a very simplistic statement based on no real investigation of the year as it unfolded. Shocking injuries 11 six day breaks 7 interstate games afl rule change costs us 2 points we missed top 4 by % then to top it off...

It's an addiction! Almost every week i end up frustrated and wishing i could quit my addiction, but i can't. So many players playing without heart So many poor decisions by the man with the ball So many umpiring decisions overlooked for us and called against when the game is in the balance So many c...
