Fall guy maybe, but he was in charge of the Baker defence, no hiding from that. i didnt realise Kenny was a lawyer  that was a stuff up from all concerned surely any lawyer would advise his client to not incriminate himself on the stand Doesn't have to be a lawyer, he owned the process, he sh...

This Board was exactly that.

Was.

It became about protecting themselves about 12 months ago.
Totally agree on this

I thought Rod's strategy was pretty obvious last week. The names we know are out there because Rod's putting them out there. Simple and the usual tactics when a self interested president is under pressure : - out any challengers before they are ready & get them on the back foot - try and link v...

Buddy's test will come next year, 15 other clubs will study his year, look for weaknesses and give him a little more respect. If he is just as dominant as this year, then hats off he has arrived. Roo has been doing it for four years now, part of being a superstar or champion is longevity. Buddy has...

Don't think Fergus is big and strong enough yet. A couple of years time maybe yes. Yeah, try saying the same thing about Westoff from Port... :? He doesn't seem big and strong enough, yet he his killing them! Maybe... But what position is he playing? The point I'm trying to make is that we need a g...

That's what I've said... And I suggested we chase a real Full Forward like Fevola if he becomes available... But seems as though most people on here are happy to play without a genuine FF and myself and others get blasted for even suggesting his name. Honestly... I'd like to know who some people wo...

Sorry that it was so hard for you to follow .......as it was in the first sentence.. Surprising how a few words confuses you so easily. It confused me because we have 'good' ruckmen. And have had 'good' ruckmen in the past. We don't have good ruckmen now I'm afraid and yes we did have them in the p...

1/ I think you are only looking at where a ruckman really crucified us.....rather than looking at how a good to elite ruckman could have provided some extra advantage in virtually every game. How many elite ruckman are there in the game? Infact, how many elite ruckmen have their been in the history...

Charman has not signed and it has been mentioned he wants to come to Vic, nothing wrong with speculation surely. As for needing a ruckman I can't believe some on here think we don't need one. Every time we play West Coast Cox is BOG, and when we play Port Lade is BOG, it helps them get over the line...

When analysing this deal, we do realise we give away 16 places in the draft and a 3rd round pick here, we are not simply just givinig up a first rounder. If dropping 16 odd places is too much fair enough, but just look at the whole deal, we gain a second round pick. Pick 9 is not that high. Charman ...

Deal to get Charman

Give the Lions pick 9 and 43 (3rd rounder) for Charman and the Lions pick 26 (2nd rounder).

Leaves us with a quality ruckman and two second round picks.

What do we think, too much?

We can't go into next season hoping Gardiner will be OK and rely on Rix and Blake to partner Kosi, we just can't.

He is a reasonable forward, but not good enough down back, not strong enough in the contest.

Why would a Crows team struggling for key talls up forward give him away?

What about Goose for Fev? Would you rather 8 years of service from a quality big-bodied defender (a position we are sorely lacking in), or 3 years from an unreliable, moronic full-forward that brings bad attention to the club? I'd rather 8 years of good service over 3 years of very good service, bu...

we need some pace through the midfield, currently we are probably the slowest team in the AFL with the possible exception of Sydney Geelong and West Coast are slow. Particularly with Judd down, West Coast are very one paced. Biggest myth in footy, and a copout. Geelong aren't overly quick either. T...

With the same injuries GT would NOT have done any better with the list IMO..... I must admit, looking back on the year, there aren't that many highlights, as in games to watch again etc. Whilst I agree with you Marto that the footy often wasn't pretty, I honestly believe if GT stayed, we would have been very frustrated this year, because EVERYONE plays this auskick type moving ...
