Re: Why I now hate Hawthorn (not that I didn't before)

Well it's simple, they won that damn Grand Final last year, if they had have lost, Geelong wouldn't be so damn insistent on trying to win this years premiership. I'd even venture that if Geelong had won last years premiership we would be the only undefeated team in the competition right now. So dam...

Cotchin Insufficient years in AFL for a good conduct bonus. Striking, intentional conduct (3 points), high impact (3 points), body contact (1 points) = 7 activation points = level 4 striking offence. Level 4 striking offence 325 points with discount of 25% for early guilty plea = 243.75 points. 2 w...

I know its boring to regurgitate, but he knowingly punches someone with obvious intent to inflict damage (how couldn't there be that kind of intent) and gets a week and yet Steven King shepherds a bloke and...... Re: Mark Vine was worried about Gardiner

Last night on sen final siren Mark Vine was concerned about M Gardiner at the end of the game hopefully he is just sore because he can beat the geelong rucks at the moment and give us the first crack at the ball Yes, even I heard that last night. It seems Gardy did not finish the game & was on ...

Roo and Montagna are the certanties at this stage. Lenny, Gilbert, BJ and Dal must be extremely close. Personally, I would have the first three in and Dal will have to push on for some extremely hard-contested spots with the likes of Gablett, Swan, Judd etc floating around. On the shortlist of 40: ...

yep, Taylor to Roo; Scarlett to Kosi; I assume Dawson to Hawkins and Max will need to take Mooney. S Fisher for Johnson looks like a good matchup. Clint Jones to Ablett. Agree, I think we need to bring in an additional tall up forward to make Harley accountable. Otherwise, he will be double-teaming...

It wasn't that we didn't have numbers push forward ... just that Richmond played the most almighty flood seen for years. They had 3 and 4 guys loose in our forward line a lot of times, and we struggled to adapt early. But it meant we were forced wider, and had to try and hit our big forwards, as ou...

Lets be honest, most teams wouldn't mind him running around their midfield right now.... Finally an unbiased comment about he Cuz. Too bad honesty is scarce on this forum. I cannot believe people are suggesting he would be running around in someone two's on his current form. I am also loyal to the ...

Re: Anyone think...?

Ben Cousins would slot nicely into our midfield rotations right about now in say Geary or McQualter's spot Sorry mate but no. Would like to see how many tackles Cousins has laid this year. Bet the figure is close to the amount of women he has - And Yes - I Am jealous. 8-) 12 from 6 games? Averaging...

Yup, Lyon will definitely pick Maguire for his first AFL game in over a year in a final... Nobody's scored 100 points against us this year, and we average over a hundred points...until their is some real deficiencies in...

I still cannot believe he is not in. One of the best CHB in the league when on fire. Truly damaging. What? He hasn't been on fire for 3 years... Not only that, he's played a handful of games and is only now stringing together some games injury free ... Do you honestly think Geelong will pick Matthe...

The last few wins haven’t been as easy and convincing as some of the early wins. Do you put that down to the opposition changing tactics against you? Ross Lyon: I think we’re coming up against some quality teams. It’s a marathon. Our average winning margin is 46 points, which is reasonable. I...

Do you "carry" Raph in the seniors and hope he regains last year's form, or do you send him back to the seconds to find that form? It's hard to justify carrying him when there are others pushing up to take that place. Not last years form, he played 8 games in good form. He was terrible at...

milne (if fit) is an automatic ("but we won - no one deserves to be dropped blah blah blah...") in. If lyon is true to his word max will play (otherwise look out X) And probably would replace gards with mcevoy. If milne and gilbo are injured, plus gardy out - then max and mcevoy come in. ...
