Ferguson and talk of delisting him are silly.

Watch him Friday IF he plays and see for yourself.

This guy has what it takes to make it - another Sam Fisher for mine...very steady and capable of playing forward or back.

Spelly still reads. A handful of posters that still post are responsible for chasing away some of the best contributors here. Pity that those responsible couldn't have been chased away first. I miss Moose too. I agree Jeff wholeheartedly. Whats worse is when these same protagonists then feign indig...

L. Fisher would be my first choice on Le Cras.. Would bring Attard in in Bake's is rubbed out, and use him through the midfield... Alternatively, with Kerr out for sure and marbe no Cousins and Judd, we may not tag at all, and just try to dominate all stoppages.. Ferg maybe for Max.. I'd prefer Gwi...

The (W)AFL have handed down this decision because if they didn't they'd be highlighting their incompetence. After all that has happened in football is recent years it is staggering to think that any incident could escape video footage. The (W)AFL had two choices : - pander to public outrage over a ...

Stick with the process that got you there in the first place. Each year we picked up a slightly more mature player or two who would be able to push for selection a little sooner: 2001: Black, Knobel 2002: Brooks, Penny, Powell 2003: Gram, Guerra, Sam Fisher 2004: Ackland, McGough, Fiora 2005: Watts...

spot on Dud - its all midfield no doubt.....thats why Id like to see X clarke go into the middle and why tough nuts like Birss are essential in there..Baker would also obviously be invaluable.

We are up against it this week....

Im praying like hell for a repeat of the Freo game but the opposition this week - including Cousins - go up 2 nothches IMO. We are missing Harvs, Max (whose not only our best true defender BUT the BEST spoiler we have) and the AFL WILL find a way to ensure Baker gets a holiday.....probably jay walki...

If Baker is suspended on the 'evidence' given by a Freo official then I expect us to do a 'Sydney' and challenge this in the Supreme Court. Who am I kidding? just got home from the game. Our best in my opinion was Armo. Sweens played well as did Allen in his first game. Rix and Brooks battled hard but didnt do much. Mini was good anf Jimmy played a good second half. Ferg and CJ didnt play because of the 5 day break until the WCE game which would mean th...

looked like the 2004-2005 game plan to me. There are two main parts to our game plan....how we play when we have the ball ....and VERY importantly how we play when the opposition have it. The way we stopped Freo often when they had the ball...was NEVER part of what we did in 2004/2005. whatever it ...

look, without being too negative, Freo were crap.....no ruckman, a one man forward line (Pavlova) and no idea how to slow a game down. The moment X.Clarke ran down the guts at full speed to bang it inside 50 really showed up how different a game plan against us Freo had compared to most other sides...

Isnt that the whole point? Bomber Thompson licked his wounds, recognised he was not able to manage the many hats Cook and others at the club said he was managing - it was affetcing his coaching. So whats he do? Agrees with the Board for the footballmanager position, the club sought some outside lea...

I honestly thought up to half time in our game against them when we had the pressure on them they cracked a little. Had we decided to actually kick straight and also include some scoreboard pressure in the mix I reckon it would have been very interesting. They have Selwood now who really adds to the...

I agree that Thomas' stubborness probably cost him his job. And it nearly cost Mark Thompson his too. But he yielded to the wishes of his board and allowed a football manager to help out. Interesting to see where the Cats are now with the stability of a constant senior coach. Isnt that the whole po...
