Where to Watch - Gold Coast/Southport
Hi Folks
I'm going to be up on the Gold Coast (Southport) on Sunday. I'd like to watch the game. Just wondering if there are any decent venues for watching AFL up here. I've had a look at the Southport SLC. Although they showed tonight's game there wasn't sound.
Any suggestions?
Cheers!

Members Only: Richo's Round 6 Message Not Working
Hi,
I'm a Saints member. I received the "Members Only: Richo's Round 6 Message" however when I click on the link I get a message saying "This video is private" and I can't watch it. Any idea how to fix this?

Re: Where are the young supporters?
Slightly OT (but related) - I think we need a venue in or near St Kilda where we can watch interstate games. I remember there being a bar near the beach on The Esplanade somewhere that showed some games however they didn't have Foxtel and didn't show interstate games. I used to enjoy watching the &q...

Re: Nice initiative from the club
I actually noticed a few groups of uni-aged Asian women sitting near me - I found it interesting as I wouldn't expect this demographic to be footy, let alone, Saints supporters. Maybe they were Monash students. Some were wearing supporter gear too.

Just been trying to dig into this a bit further and came across this article <http://www.saints.com.au/news/2014-03-17/lets-get-physical-richo> In the article our coach says the following: "How this ‘spirit’ manifests itself will not be guided by ladder position or overall results, but rather ...

Wasn't he referring to the generational change and the changing role of senior players when this is happening?

Re: What Would Be Regarded as "Success" This Season
Thanks for the replies. I'm interested in how people are going to rate the performance of the newer players - is it only about total possessions (i.e. getting hands on the ball) or should it be about effective possessions (or maybe the ratio of the two?). Is it more about playing a role? I guess a l...

What Would Be Regarded as "Success" This Season
Hi Folks, I'm curious as to what would constitute "success" for the Saints this season. I realise that win/loss is the bottom line however if we assume that due to the introduction of new young players and a new coach that wins will be hard to come by, what would be a successful year? I'm ...

Just to be clear, could someone explain exactly what the "Clarko Game Plan" is, and how it differs from other coach's game plans.

The Bubble - A Bargain at $1.00
Hi Guys,
I was passing Linton St last Saturday so I popped into the Saints Locker and picked up a copy of "The Bubble" for $1.00. Even though it's a bit dated now it's still a great read about the inner workings of the club in 2010. And for a dollar it's a bargain!
Cheers,
Chris

SEN have it listed on their site as one of the games they're covering so at least there's some coverage.

Will There be a Radio Broadcast of the Anzac Day Game?
Hi,
Seems like the radio stations doing each game's broadcast aren't listed on the AFL website any more (not sure why that would be?).
Anyone know if any radio stations will be broadcasting the Anzac Day game?
Cheers,
Chris

My Thoughts on Ross Leaving
Hi Folks, I'm a long-time Saints member. I keep an eye on Saintsational but I don't post often. I have a few thoughts on Ross Lyon leaving us for Freo. The more I think about it, the more I think I understand why. It doesn't make me feel good as I would have preferred him to stay. But we will move o...

How is this a "New Saints Scandal"?
Just reading the article in The Age about Sam Fisher being assaulted.
How is this a "New Saints Scandal" as the headline screams?
FFS, I thought The Age was a "quality" media outlet - they're on a race to the bottom with the rest.
