as long as it's not riewoldt, all of the others can be covered IMHO .. Lenny can't be replaced either! I said covered, not replaced. I agree the Lenny is the best inside midfielder we have, but others can step up if ball/armitage/etc can produce some of their best. We would have a hard time coverin...

I heard another stat last night at the pub which made me think. In the last decade, 100% of the teams that won the preliminary final went on to play in the Grand Final the following week. A few Crownies too many I think..... Idiot! Lucky for you I assume that's you in your avatar, or you would have...

Draft schmaft, all I care about is getting through tonight. One out of four is not too much to ask for. haha, i'm just trying to take my mind off the game for at least part of the day. i'm going insane waiting (and being in brisbane, we have to wait an extra hour to watch it) not sure how i am goin...

Amazing prelim stat

I just read in an article that since 1999, all 16 teams have participated in at least one prelim final. I find that amazing, and I checked it and its 100% correct.

For me, it shows that what the AFL are doing with the draft and salary cap is good for the game.

agree that if they go small, they'll have to play really well to beat us as they can't rely on cheap goals with quick kicks into the forward line. there's been a lot of talk of max for johnson. gilbert was pretty much best on ground with the job he did on johnson in rnd 17. this matchup is a must fo...

this could simply be playing games. they would have to know that we don't have a great matchup for zac if minson doesn't play.

First thing Gards or Zac (depending where Minson lines up) should do is step on his toe!

Cooney will play. Absolute certainty.

I was looking up some songs on you tube last night.

I'm a bit of a TISM fan, and played "Greg The Stop Sign". I had forgotten (not sure how) that it the filmclip has saints players in it and is filmed at Moorabbin.

GO SAINTERS!

I think it'll be NO CHANGE

I think Minson will go forward and there's Zac's matchup.

Geary, Gwilt and Armitage very unlucky. And feel sorry for Maxy.

If there's one thing i've been the most impressed with this season, its the game plan and attitude of the players towards each game. No player cannot be covered and we can win regardless. agree. we're a very versatile outfit and, unlike in the past, haven't been overly reliant on just a few to win ...

4TH PRELIM IN 6 YEARS

Surely we gotta get up in this one. 2004 - vs Port Adelaide. I was actually in Ireland by all accounts it was ours for the taking but just fell short. Its heartbreaking... and I've never seen the game! (and I never will) 2005 - vs Sydney. Too many supporters had us over the line before the game star...

guys like eagleton and minson are confidence players. need to get on top of them early. write off the dogs at your own peril. they run all night and will come home strong. they have been very good against the cats this year, and probably got us almost at our peak in round 17. I believe we didn't ha...
