Prob from Westpac above the odds increase to loans!! true, but at least they had the nads to be public about it. i have loans with st george (i think partly owned by westpac) and cba. cba increased their rates by almost as much but not much was said (well that i heard anyway). i'm just glad that ea...

yeah, i thought they did, but wasn't sure if it was fully as i remember reading a story somewhere after westpac announcing their big rise, that they would be getting no favours from the govt regarding st george.

bit hazy on details though.

probably drunk at the time... hahaha

To those of you who watch a replay of losing grand finals, you're far better supporters than me. Thats something I can't and won't ever do.

Brings back to much pain and too many what ifs!

Yes (I still haven't recovered from 1997 yet) i went to every final in 97, and i was there for the grand final and yet i still didn't feel this crap. and ironically, this year on grand final day i was in sydney at a stupid friggin wedding. i thought writing this thread would somehow make me feel be...

Still mourning... anyone?

I don't know if it is just me, but I'm still devastated with last season. Yes, I know I need to move past it Yes, I know I need to harden the f#ck up Yes, I know its just a game Yes, I know we have 2010 to look forward to But I really thought we'd win it and like you all, I wanted it so badly. IMO of course

I would have thought that Riewoldt was strong enough to continue to play up forward for the rest of his career, and that this wouldn't necessarily lead to his career span being significantly shortened. Yes, he will keep getting smashed by defenders and, yes, this will most likely lead to a continui...

thinline, i see where you are coming from, but my post was more abouts whether we continue playing him in a role that he will run himself into an early retirement vs put him in the square to prolong a career (where i still think he'll kick 60+) i guess based on that, you're picking the former. its a...

Best position is FF, but to me he is a confidence player and needs to start off well. Kosi and Roo must still be good mates as they were close to each other most of the night at the Best and Fairest. Roo needs to get into him re fitness and try and adopt the same philosophy to being prepared for a ...

Riewoldt - decisions, decisions

I'm really interested in hearing others thoughts about what we do with Riewoldt going forward. This has to be treated as hypothetical because I have no factual information, but I think its creates a talking point and i think it has some merit. At present, i believe he is the best CHF in the game who...

Re: Who In PSD?

I think this year there will be a few players that will go in PSD, so i would assume we will save a pick to get someone Who is worthy of a pick albeit we will be near the end, but some teams would rather kids, our window is now and we must pick up someone that will suit us Players of note: Bradshaw...

rubbish, max wouldn't be able to keep up with stevie j all over the ground. although dangerous forward, stevie j would have ran him all over the ground. it sounds like those who say we should have moved max onto jarman. IMO, nobody would have stopped jarman that day. it's gone, we lost, we need to m...

any other year i'd usually agree, but the pain of the grand final loss is still too strong to be missing footy. i really thought we would win it, in my heart of hearts... and i was crushed. i had some covering bets on the cats and storm so i'll blow that on the spring carnival, but i'm still a month...
