Roo said that all the boys had been practising getting their heads well over the ball. Great to hear and about time. Its amazing how little time is spent in training players to kick better for goal. I'm sure Dempster had a similar action to Roo when he booted that perfect supergoal. Benny McEvoy is ...

Really liked the look of him last night. Did very well for someone of his age, who is that tall. Looked like he was 3-4 years older. Interesting to see that he thought (before he came to us) that he most resembles Kosi: http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/86828/default.aspx Agre...

Its a hard job holding down that defensive forward role. If you don't kick plenty of goals and nail every tackle then the criticism comes easily. I was rapt to see him get a fair dinkum run on the ball and he played as good a game as you will see. How good would it be if he can play consistently lik...

Why could he not get a run in a side that was in the bottom half of the ladder this year...and how is he going to take us to the next level when his ability is known..... He must have a great life. We should start fairly good favourites anyway but I believe any underestimation is good for the team. Let people be in awe after, and if, we win the flag.

Oh and I could've killed him for doing that dribble goal. Almost gave me a heart attack when he played on  That's just classic Milney. He can't do anything the easy way. In fact, the harder it is, the more likely he is to kick it. For every time we've thrown out hands in the air in despair, ...

Kosi was joined in the center square by Goddard, Montagna and Armitage so it looked like Leigh Tudor was getting experienced heads in there. Sensible policy.

I am pretty sure that the AFL isnt a court of law other wise Ben Cousins would have sued them. Should Stokes be allowed to play as he is innocent until proven guilty. No of course not. If OJ was a Saints players should he be allowed to play because he was found not guilty. No of course not. The AFL...

Andrew Lovett has every right to be training with the club. He has not been charged with an offence and it is looking increasingly likely that he will not be. Was there ever anything in it? Ignore the pitiful rumours that have been spread around on this forum. Lovett wants to be vindicated and wants...

Just looking at the record. Averaged 17 disposals and 3 rebound 50s in his only decent run in 2007. One of his last games, the semi-final win against the hawks he had 27 disposals, 6 marks, 3 inside 50s, 4 rebound 50s. Elite disposal efficiency of over 80% - similar for kicking and handball. Over to...

You'd have to think we lost ground there. Ball is a far better player than any of the additions. Jesse Smith is a quality player but he has had even more injury troubles than Xavier Clarke. I don't know much about Pattison, but if he's not good enough for Richmond's list I don't know what he's doin...

Happy with the picks. Jesse Smith well worth a shot at 60. I guess the club wanted another backup ruckman and Pattison has some ability. Remember where Pattison has been for the past few years. He is coming to a stable club thirsting for a flag so fingers crossed.

It has concerned me that Ross hasn't seemed willing to play Roo at CHB. Up forward his decision-making frequently lets him down and his leads are often poor. I'm not saying never play him up forward and I wouldn't expect us to change things around this week against the Bulldogs who have height prob...
