Re: Buddy & NDS make a mockery of FA
Just dont give compensation for a FA. Its the obvious way to go. It will create more movement which will allow your club to improve quicker. I dont think any comp in the world where there is FA do clubs get compensated for losing a player. major league baseball How does their compensation work? In ...

Re: “I hope I can just go back and barrack. For the Saints,”
I feel the other factor surrounding the Gino hit and why Kosi, as ausfatcat says, "lost the love for the game on that day", was that the overwhelming response from the media and general football public was that Kosi was to blame. Here is a guy who had his skull fractured in a hit yet HE wa...

Re: Wellington 2014
We do need info on the game earlier than it was provided this time though to get the cheaper deals. I don't follow. It is on Anzac Day and so you already know when it is on...so you can book now. Nothing has officially been confirmed for a match on Anzac Day in 2014 in Wellington. Yes, both the AFL...

Re: Saad's "PLAY ON"
Clear targetting. Say what you want about it being a mistake, but that "mistake" has not happened to any other player, only the one the umpiring department have said they have specifically talked to about his goal preparation. Singled out. Targeted. My understanding is they have 30s to sta...

Re: Lets not play the Swans in NZ next year
What was the support like for us there tonight? Where we the majority or the minority? And for those who were there - where the Kiwis mainly neutral or leaning one way or the other? I talked to my parents this morning, who went over, and they said Saints colours easily outnumbered Swans 15-1. This ...

Re: What was Blake thinking
I had a good view and I reckon he believed he had marked it. Even if that was the case, and the umpire had paid the mark, he screwed up anyway, as it would have resulted as a behind to Richmond. He "marked" the ball in front of the behinds and ran behind the goal post and through the goal...

Does anyone else remember that day? It was very surreal... I remember the day. I wasn't at Waverley but I was at home listening to the game on the Radio. Rex Hunt stopped in the middle of the call to relay the news filtering through regarding the terrible events in Tasmania. It was surreal listening.

Absolutely credit where credit is due Saints. It will take a while to determine if this training trip has been worth it from a playing/fitness/club morale perspective, fingers crossed it is, but right now from a media perspective I'm absolutely ecstatic at what the club has been dishing out. Well do...

Can anyone that has been along to a previous B&F care to say how it was? I've always been tempted to go along to one but have never really been in the position too. This year is different, however, so I'd be keen to hear about previous experiences?

5. Jones
4. McEvoy
3. Hayes
2. Saad
1. Ray
How people are leaving Jones out of their 5 baffles me. 28 disposals at 86% efficiency, 15 contested possessions, 12 clearances and 9 tackles. He won his own ball time and time again across all four quarters. BOG by a country mile.

Re: Round 23- any predictions
I think it will be Saturday Night. At the time they decide on the scheduling, both Carlton and St Kilda are still likely to be fighting for a finals spot, so they won't risk a Sunday match. Especially when there will already be good options for Sunday matches by then (BL v WB, GWS v NM, Frem v Melb ...

Demetriou didn't do anything wrong last night at all. The PA guys at the venue kept missing their cues to push the host and table mics to both the room and broadcast.
