Re: Hunter Clark!

Hunter was great this week, especially off the given gametime and first game back from injury.

On Crouch, watching the Sandy game he still clearly not moving at 100%.

He is a plodder

Don't see him in our best 22
What does Bonner offer that Shoenmaker doesn’t?
Bonner is probably a bit better at ground level, also experience in a young side.

But on balance you'd take Shoenmaker right now.

It looked like Garcia with a hamstring or leg complaint in the last 5 minutes. Nothing said about it though.

Re: Sandringham v Frankston

Max Heath tearing it up. Best game i've seen him play by far.

Just took a ball out of the ruck, ran and broke a tackle, kicked inside 50 for a goal.

3pts the diff in the final qtr for anyone interested in watching.

Re: Still effing pathetic

Dumb football in the first quarter. Just so so in the second, but I thought we looked like we had more cohesion in that second half. Dow and Clark were solid. Excellent job Windhager Overall, a small step in the right direction That sums it up. We weren't tuned into their red time change of pace, i...

Has there ever been a player more fragile than King.
Yes, but I dare not speak his name.

Re: Let's Talk About the Elephant In the Room

The forwardline steps up when King is out.

It's the opposite of what you want from a good leader.

I don't know if that's something you can change in a player.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Weagles Round 12 2024

People need to realise that we were still putrid for a large part of the match. Barely got on top of a still rebuilding Eagles outfit who will finish bottom 3 or 4 and were missing their two most influential players. Reid should never have been given the license to get as much ball as he did in the...

Don't let him in the forward 50 unless the ball is already in there, and he will shine.

For a 14 point win against last years wooden spooners and one of three clubs below us on the ladder?

Some reasonable match day changes in the middle of the game but the games are won and lost with coaching well before the first bounce.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Weagles Round 12 2024

The game has moved past stoppage as being the difference between sides. Need to be clean with the ball and generate quality I50 entries and we are losing that around the middle of the ground in general play. Players like Ross, Steele, Crouch, Windhager are stoppage players that are not effective in ...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Weagles Round 12 2024

So for those watching the game… The issue is the mids right? Top 4 disposal winners on the ground are WCE players. Sinclair has gone cold, Steele barely in the game We are winning the ball from stoppage well enough, but poor execution is giving it back to them. Steele being missing isn't really bei...
