i'd settle for stability and sustained success. that doesn't necessarily mean a premiership. what it means is finals football and hopefully a shot at a premiership. they're not easy to get ... 15 other teams want the same thing. you need luck with injuries as well as skill and talent and persistance...

neither the club, nor kosi, nor the supporters would entertain any swap involving kosi for fev.

one's a great clubman with a huge heart. the other's a prima donna sook

not a big fan of trading for washed up duds like m clarke The Saints did not trade for M Clarke,,, perhaps i should rephrase that. I'm not a big fan of hiring washed-up duds like m. clarke. I wouldn't be looking at anyone over 24-25. their best football should be in front of them, not behind them.

my major concern in the second half was not the win/loss ratio but the way we played. only once ... the fremantle game ... we played close to the levels we have shown we are capable of in recent seasons. we showed similar spirit in the next game against west coast but in the end they ran us off our ...

looked like tarzan .... always puffing his chest out ... played like jane.

but in those days we had some of the all time champion duds ... some of them so forgettable that i can't remember their names

we desperately need a ruckman to allow kosi to play ff i also agree with st mart that you do not trade your first pick, which should be "spent" on the best available young player in the draft, regardless of type not a big fan of trading for washed up duds like m clarke and i also share the...

i'm still hoping that goose can recapture the form and confidence that had many of us talking him up as possible all australian chb before his broken leg. he busted a gut to get back for round 1 then was crippled by stress factors. imo having him missing for the first half of the season was a key fa...

Lol … Plugger you and SR are the ones touting Brooks as a forward only. Brooksy has only kicked 10 goals this year not 20. He only kicked 16 goals last year. It was 2005 when he was played as a permanent KPP forward he kicked 42 goals. Brooksy is regularly in the best now because of his work as a...

Re: where does fraser stand ?

top 20. maybe top 10. will be marked down because he didn't play his entire career for us neither did bigcarl or plugger true. perhaps i should have said he started at another club. lockett and ditterich made their names at st kilda. gehrig made his name at west coast. people will mark him down bec...

Some might say roo is also too valuable to be run into the ground each week as has happened this year. If he plays at FF, I reckon there'd be some possibility that he might keep going past the age of 28. i could say the same thing about kosi being used for hack ruck work every week, too, particular...

Plugger would have kicked 90% of his goals on a lead. Loewe took pack marks but it wasnt pluggers biggest strength. Lloyd, Fev, Dunstall, Beasley they go on and on. None great pack marks but great on a lead. If Kosi isnt mobile enough for CHF he wont be mobile enough at FF. i saw most of pluggers g...

Strong overhead but doesnt take pack marks but FF do not need to do that lockett didn't take pack marks? gimme a break. it's the difference between being able to cope with the flood or not imo. sure roo would make a gun full-forward. so would kosi. would kosi make a great chf? probably not. not mob...

didn't reiwoldt kick a bag a few years ago at FF? I can't imagine with the new rules any FB getting close enough to him to push him in the back with his speed... i'm sure riewoldt could play there successfully, but imo he's too valuable doing what he's doing. also why would we use a bloke with his ...

forward line i'd like to see hf: goddard, riewoldt, gilbert f: milne, kosi, ball kosi must play ff imo. as evertonfc said in another post kosi is a handy ruckman but potentially a superstar full-forward. one of the few blokes in the league who can consistently take big pack marks ... an ability i re...

Re: Who are we prepared to trade?

Matt Maguire: would be worth a bit. "would be worth a bit" because he is a bloody good player. people forget just how good. even though we didn't see the best of him this season it is worth noting that with goose back in the team in the second part of the season we lost only three matches...

I know he hasn't got the body of a full forward yet, but Sam Gilbert is tall, fast and accurate. It would only take for him to make a good lead which wouldn't be too hard considering his pace....thoughts anyone?? yeah. he's the type of player who can play virtually anywhere. tall quick and strong. ...

What about Goose for Fev? no. goose is better than what his performances since his comeback from a broken leg suggest. it's a trade that would come back to haunt us imo anyhow, kosi is potentially a better full-forward than fev. more explosive and doesn't rely on pinpoint disposal because of his ab...
