On reflection, I’m happy with the addition of McRae if he comes. He will immediately make our midfield better. If he were to come … so long as he gets games on merit and form and not because he’s been promised games. Sounds like a fairly hefty contract though. How much and how long, do we know?

If he comes across for more opportunity it should be on the understanding that sides are picked on form and merit … ie, no promises of games.

Plus I tend to baulk a bit at a big contract for a guy who the Bulldogs couldn’t guarantee a game this season.

What was the free kick count in the end, anyone?
