But hypothetically, what gets it done?

#8 + Clark + Hill
Horne-Francis + 2nd round & 3rd round 2023?

I don’t think they have second or 3rd round picks in 2022.
Need to be better than that. Add Xerri to that.

Re: A Ratten hypothetical

You're making stuff up based on your personal views. What do you mean by Ratten not 100% in control? Give us some examples of Fagan's 'hard edge'. Well of course I’m making stuff up based on my personal views. Aren’t we all. Looks to me like Ratten is not the only one steering the ship. Or if he is...

Teflon is right. It's not just recruiting. If that were the case GWS would have 3 flags already. Of course coaching is crucial. He sets the tone for the whole group. And if you've got some like Richo who avoided conflict like the plague and wouldn't make tough calls, the boats not going to steer st...

Re: A Ratten hypothetical

In a tight competition it only takes a small improvement and a change of luck with injury for any side to rocket up the ladder. Darcy Moore was sidelined around June of last year with a serious knee injury. I think Elliott was also injured for a fair bit of last year ... maybe half the games? Two i...

I don’t know why we would need to trade any of our good players. We were not far away this year beating Freo, Richmond, Geelong and Carlton. We should have beaten Brisbane and took it right up to Sydney. A free agent or two and two good young players in the draft, together with continued improvemen...

don't be grumpy, be happy. melbourne the most overrated and arrogant premiers we've seen in many years were shown to be pretenders. hubris is a mental weakness, and melbourne are full of it. They were fantastic last year. Gawn, Petracca, Oliver were exceptional. Their engine room was elite, great d...

Never came up with Plan B.

Game day appears to be clueless.

Being the players best mate is ok. But doesn't bring them to account. Leadership an issue on and off the ground.

Re: A Ratten hypothetical

Shouldn't have been extended mid-season. Should have waited until the end of the year and then made a hard headed decision about his tenure. Extending mid-season shut the door on any other possibility and cobbles the 'review' coz he's locked in. You are assuming Clarkson didn't pick Nth 12 months a...

Is that an example of your management style? I reckon Ratts would perhaps do better to trim the waistline, shave and look the part a bit more. He's got a very down beat look, and while that might not seem important, I reckon it creates a bit of a near enough is good enough standard So….is Stewy Dew...

Nope can't blame him at all. Meanwhile Ratten remains coach and we have a "review" conducted by the person whoost needs reviewing.
