So the question becomes Gardiner VS Rix, one has to go Why not both? Well, thats another option. Why not go and give some other kids in the draft a chance? Fair point Otiman. well the whole reason 1 of Gardiner or Rix played yesterday was that coz Kosi was out, we had no other option for DEAN COX.....

What do we do with Xavier Clarke

Has been on the list for 6 seasons now, and yet can't seem to get his body right. Forever seems injured with soft tissue injuries. Some forumites here seem to rate him quite highly; some seem to think he's a def starting 22 player. They suggest that he makes things happen, has great skills and runs ...

it appears you people don't understand football. If Roo had kicked those goals we would of been 40 points ahead..Game over.. Instead his misses from 20 meters out in front, kept the eagles in the game... i take it no 1 else missed any goals for the rest of the game and that if Roo had kicked those ...

My impression is that Gardiner can't play in this team as anything more than a ruck...

simply can't cut it as a KPP and we lose too much flexibility having King, Kosi and Gardiner in the team

So the question becomes Gardiner VS Rix, one has to go

i think we're right in the middle of rebuilding. Since RL came he has been turning the list over (rightly IMO) and we've been doing it w/o completely bottoming out. IMO we're 6th-12th side with a list that comprises 1/4 of good to excellent players, 1/4 good developing juniors, 1/4, 1/4 senior playe...

win would certainly put a bit of space between us and those clutching at straws for the last spot in the 8.

would feel much better if we have to win our last game to make the 4 rather than the 8

i'd hang onto Gwilt would lose Rix, Fiora and Ferguson (on top of Harvey and Gehrig) off the record I'd really shop X around and would snap up a 2nd rounder if I could get one (Gold Coast any1) so 5-6 players out onto the senior list comes Eddy, McQualter and Miles that leaves us room to draft 3 pbl...

i thought the reasoning was sound. The mistake was hiring him in the first place. RB openly said that he and other board members were swept up in the "Blight Aura" and the hope that he would give the club credibility All processes completelty went out the window. In terms of his sacking. I...

my least favorite player of all time. was talented enough to be an elite midfielder and played 1 good season (2004) where he played match winning... i'll kick the winning goal myself type of football. Then he went back to Freo and just hung off the HBF letting team mates hand the ball to him, stoppe...

i guess being the senior player means Fiora has earned some browny points

though i'm not happy with his selection, i can see why RL would put a little faith into him

X has already proven his worth time and again. Can do the job. Yes, injuries have hurt him but when he gets out there, one X Clarke possession is worth about 2-3 for everyone else. He is an assists king. I see you rate him very highly. I'm curious as to why. For mine he fades in and out of games wa...

FOr mine, Gwilt has climbed over Ferguson and Charlie in the pecking order... wouldn't delist him myself. Still needs to improve though. Lots of love here for X which is interesting as in 6 years on the list he has never gotten his body right. It only took Raph 4 years to get his body right... at le...

the controversy was about dropping Dal not both. Milne's tyhe kind of player that benefits from a week in the 2s. For whatever reason, he absolutely dominates at VFL level every time. he goes back there, kicks a bag, does the team things and comes back a more confident player... it's almost worth co...

don't be too harsh on Gwilt... had been playing ok until last night.

when a forward has a bad game they're generally just ineffective

when a backman has a bad game their opponent usually kicks a few goals

that's why Milne's bad games never seem as bad Gwilts/Raphs

pbly lose his spot to C.Gardiner or Ferguson who are ahead of him as a forward (at this stage) If we want to go taller as a team then M.Gardiner will take his spot otherwise Geary will get his spot to provide more run through the midfield or Baker as an extra defensive option good kid with good pros...

is there room for King, Gardiner and Kosi all at once in this team?

Kosi does seem to get more involved when he plays in the ruck.
