The only guy I could see clarke coming on for is Schnieder.
Forget reputations, Geary and Mcqualter have earnt their spots in the team.

do what we have done so far and the score board takes care of itself. Tackle, pressure, share the load and go when it is your turn to . Freo will be dangerous if you let them hang around. IF Pav plays forward S Fisher, in the middle go head to head with him as no defensive side to game. Contest at t...

Gardiner got injured towards the end of the season 2003 and Cox came in and did a pretty good job. Wc had worries re Gardiner's injury and other off field matters and they pulled the pin on it.

I dont know where all you people are coming from with No Change, and If Its Not Broken Dont Fix It. To get our best team out there we must have both Clarkes and Max back. Jones, Mini, Geary and Gwilt are not untouchable. Definitely not untaouchables but do not deserve to be dropped because of reput...

Being a bit optimistic re Hudghton playing or does someone else know something. Based on his history i would almost be tempted to play him in the ressies for a game first, especially while the backline is holding together well.

The saints defence was a different unit under thommo was all attack from anywhere. He liked players to back them selves and run off an opponent. I think this is something RL has given the saints like it or not is full ground accountability. Who knows how he'll play under the new game plan we haven'...

Don't worry about Goose, he has already been written off by this forum. Yeah its unreal isnt it! than if he comes back and plays well everyone will jump back on board like always! I have always found it amazing how a couple of people's opinions always seemed to get referred to as 'this board's opin...

A few good pieces of news here. X B.O.G. 2nd week in a row. Geary, Gwilt, Jones, McQualter, should not be keeping him out of seniors. McEvoy good in the ruck, another good sign. And good to see Haretuku getting a mention. No mention of Heyne, Stanley. Cahill, Tungatalum etc. Did any of these play o...

Anyone who expected him to play before the mid part of the season was dreaming. 2 years out of footy with a serious injury, if he plays 6 games this year it will be a bonus. Nathan brown is a good example. Lighter body size so potentially less stress and quicker recovery is only now moving like he u...

Make him earn a spot through 3-4 consistant performances at a lower level Sorry disagree entirely with this kind of comment. It implies that X doesn't work hard enough or that somehow he has done the wrong thing. You earn a spot by playing the standard of footy required and doing the things asked o...

Why is everyone in such a hurry for X Clarke to be rushed back into a winning side. What has he done in the last 2 years to earn such a call. He had at best a servicable 2007 at times showing glimpses of brilliance ( ala his whole career so far) and injuries. 2008 again injuries and glimpses. Make h...

I think Nick is out of contract at the end of 2010. From what I understand GC17 get some sort of free shot at 1 x uncontracted player from each club. So potentially we could lose him without receiving anything in return? Is that right? One would hope we could sign him to a deal this year if that is...

1 - Solid game. Couple of crap kicks but provided good run and had a more physical side to his game. 2 - Ok, nothing more. Wasn't particularly effective but didn't do much wrong. 10 - Very good return. Great inside game. 11 - Good game. Started slowly but really worked his way into the game and was...

Apart from Raph I would not make any changes. 1 game does not make or break a season and every player deserves more than 1 game to show something- especially after a win. Geary i think is there for pressure, run and tackling which he did. I would not be surprised to see Dal and Milne out this week a...

Well, for what it's worth, first three rounds we play Sydney, Adelaide and West Coast - 2 of those three teams dont really have a forward in need of Hudghtoning, so whilst it is bad news he is out, it at least seems like we should be able to cover the loss for these few rounds! Probably 1997 prelim v north as the consequences of hat win were a dream I never thought i would see, although turned to a nightmare.

Equal second Harvey v Adelaide 2005 final, 1992 final v collingowwod when HArvey embarassed McGuanne and at Moorabin v Carlton Plugger v Carlton.
