Re: What's an acceptable loss against Carlton?
Acceptable losing margin(?): -1 point or greater. -1 point or less Hi Kosi, to clarify, I'm afraid I've unnecessarily complicated matters by focusing on this thread's theme of a losing margin. I take a losing margin of say 6 goals as a 36 point loss. So the opposite would be a loss of neg...

I don't know what he was thinking but he paid the mark and then called play on. It was an incorrect decision whichever way you look at it because Stanley definitely took the mark and he definitely did not play on.

Let's get this straight If you make a wrong call, you make another wrong call to even things up??? Fair dinkum Just telling you the rule. The second call though is supposed to be the correct call. Looking forward to another three quarters of Cyril ducking his head and getting free kicks.
Our disposal is terrible, even Siposs, but somehow only 3 points down.

To suggest Watters is not at fault and it's "someone who does the paperworks" job is rubbish - Watters lives and dies by the on field moves he makes from the box it's his responsibility to KNOW when he can/ can't substitute a player... next we'll blame "Joe the camera man" It is...

Dunstall and Salmon in 1998 Carey and Longmire in 1999 Carey and Rocca in 2001 Hall and OLoughlin in 2009 Hall and Jonhson in 2010 Had kicked 500+ goals in the same team. Not for the same team though. Salmon only kicked 41 goals for Hawthorn. Hall didn't kick 500 goals for anyone Rocca only kicked ...

But mcadam05's post was about players who had kicked goals for the same club. And Lockett kicked less than 500 goals for the Swans.

so at sydney - every single player played with lockett had a total goals over 1000. But not playing for the same club. History seems to forget that almost two thirds of Plugger's goals were for the Saints. But by the end of Round 4 1934 Jack Carmody (2) and Gordon Coventry (998) had kicked a thousa...

Re: Stephen Milne - Now in the top 50 ever!
Not only has Stephen achieved the 500 goals milestone, he is also now in the top 50 goalkickers ever (Jonathon Brown is number 49, as an indication of player quality). By career end, it is likely that Stephen will move into the top 40. I note that Nick Riewoldt is not far behind. He needs just 16 g...

Is Montagna in trouble?
I'm hoping it was just a head clash but if they were wrestling at the time it might be reportable.
